The people of Nandi's village are terrified of Nabulela, the monster who lives in the deep lake nearby. One day the girls of the village play a cruel trick on Nandi. Her father, the chief, is very angry. The only way the girls can gain forgiveness, he says, is by killing Nabulela and bringing him the skin. How can the girls defeat the fearful creature?
