From the multi award-winning picture book maker of A Bit Lost, Oh No, George! and Shh! We Have a Plan, comes the ultimate bedtime book.

"A richly coloured, hypnotic ode to sleep; this perfect starlit bedtime book will have parents yawning dangerously alongside their offspring" Guardian

In this stunningly illustrated bedtime book, perfect for the end of the day, a series of exquisitely coloured cut pages of increasing size introduce woodland families - bears, deer, rabbits and teeny, tiny mice - who are all beginning to feel really ... rather ... tired ... YAWN! "Dear me," says Great Big Bear, "it must be time for bed!" But Little Bear is certainly not sleepy - he's wide awake! (For now...) With sublime, starry night time scenes and an infectious yawny "Good night" refrain, Chris Haughton creates a lulling bedtime read, perfect for parents and children to share together.

We adore Chris Haughton's cool illustrations, bright colours and simple humourous stories. 'Goodnight Everyone' follows this model brilliantly and has a perfect theme for bedtimes. We adore the star map at the beginning of the book and have looked at it countless times; it really does 'set the scene' perfectly. There are cut out pages which help to add to the interest in the book and the simple text is easy to read and remember.
A highly recommended story for bedtimes.

This is a beautiful bedtime story.  All the animals are tired and settling down to sleep except Little Bear who still wants to play.  The repeated phrases are great for creating a calm and relaxing bedtime routine.  The colour palette is beautifully restrained and creates a wonderful warm atmosphere.  The way that the flaps are structured to be different lengths and build up the story is very clever and effective.
My daughter enjoys this sorry immensely and listens carefully when it’s being read to her.

The mice, the hares, the deer and even Great Big Bear are all tired and want to go to bed. But Little Bear is not tired and doesn't want to go to sleep. An absolutely perfect story for bedtime. It is impossible to read without yawning and starting to feel sleepy too! We love the illustrations, and the tones and colours really give the feeling of the sun setting for the night. Lovely book.

Excellent bedtime book- all about the animals going to sleep at night...well, all except one....  I read this as part of my daughters bedtime routine, a magical adventure with Little Bear- with noises to make and bedtime kisses.  It is beautifully illustrated and well chosen language.  A must read to share and read aloud.

I adore Chris Haughtons illustrations, they are vivid and rich without being too bright, and really warm and engaging. There are little things to look out for in some pages and some cut out pages too. Along with a very lovely sleepy story that can be read slowly to encourage little ones to settle down for the night, it's a perfect bedtime read.

Although we all enjoyed this book it isn't nearly as engaging as 'ssh we have a plan' and it suited my 1 year old much more than my 5 year old. However my 5 year old was very interested in the star gazing maps at the front and back of the book. It would be a perfect introduction to peeking outside at some constellations.

Young ones will enjoy the sleepy tones of this book as many animals prepare for bedtime. The story perhaps isn't one of originality but the presentation of the book is to be appreciated. The illustrations are representative of the"cool" picture book with its modern esque feel. The palette of colours chosen shout night time and the layering of cut pages makes it more appealing for little fingers. Little Ones can say goodnight to an array of animals and have a little chuckle at the mention of snoring.
