What would you do if you were settling down for a quiet bedtime story and you realised that a crocodile had fallen into your storybook and was - not to put too fine a point on it - furious? Would you slam that book shut and cram it in the bookshelf for evermore, or would you be brave enough to peek? This very grumpy crocodile has ended up in totally the wrong book, so he proceeds to eat his way out, in this fantastic debut picture book. He tries to escape a storybook that is all wrong for him, but is great fun for the reader!

This was a really fun and interactive book.  The book starts off as though it is going to tell the tale of the Ugly Duckling but a crocodile appears and the reader is invited to help to get rid of it. My son wasn’t very keen on turning the page to see what was there but once convinced he loved the ‘shaking’ and the ‘rocking’ needed to help get the greedy crocodile out of the book.

This is a great book that the kids haven't tired of yet. It's about a crocodile who takes over the book and starts eating the letters. As the reader you are asked to help by sending him to sleep... The kids love being a part of the book and the illustrations are fun.

We love these interactive books. This one sees a crocodile wander into the story of the ugly duckling and so the reader is asked to do all sorts to get rid of him, shaking the book, rocking him to sleep etc. A very fun book that my daughter loved. She especially liked how he escapes in the end!
