Jesus was born in what is present-day Israel. Although his birth was marked by angels and kings, he lived an ordinary life until the age of about thirty. He then started to teach about God and how people should live their lives. As well as attracting many followers, he made many enemies. After only three years or so, he was arrested, tried and put to death by the Roman rulers. Later, his teachings developed into the religion now known as Christianity. This book tells you all about Jesus, who he was and what he did. It explains his teaching and how it is written down in the Christian Bible. Four key moments in his life are also retold: his birth, his teachings, the Last Supper and the Resurrection. There is also information on sacred places, festivals and how Jesus' teaching has endured to the present day.
