Eventually he found the answers and became 'Enlightened'. For the rest of his life he travelled, preached and taught, giving rise to the religion that is now known as Buddhism. This book tells you about the life of the Buddha, who he was and what he did. It explains how he found 'the Middle Way', what he taught his followers, and about the holy books that contain his teaching. There is also information on Buddhist sacred places, festivals, and how the Buddha's work has lasted to the present day.
