`Glows with warmth and wit' Jenny McLachlan, author of Flirty Dancing
`A witty, feel-good romp of a book' Emma Carroll, author of Letters from the Lighthouse
`So warm and funny with characters who feel like friends' Keris Stainton, author of Starring Kitty

Name : Elektra James
Featuring in : upcoming movie RAW - Romeo and Juliet meets Hunger Games meets Planet of the Apes meets...?? Who knows? It's complicated.
Relationship Status : Umm...hopeful?

It's a BIG year for Elektra . She's wrapped her first feature film Raw (even if her character was unexpectedly killed off half-way through filming) and hosted - against the odds - the party of the year (well, until her mum turned up and kicked everyone out) so, things are definitely moving in the right direction. BUT she's still not sure what's going on with Archie, her bff Moss's love life is in shreds and GCSEs are looming. And the COUNTDOWN to Raw 's release is TERRIFYING, not least because it turns out there's more to promoting a movie than messing around on Insta... #ComingSoon, #ElektraExposed #RawTerror. Elektra's road to acting stardom is as rocky as ever...

Full of humour and warmth, this is the perfect series for fans of Holly Smale, Katy Birchill, Beth Garrod and Marianne Levy.

A brilliant book for teens with likeable characters and lots of heart.
The third in the Waiting for Callback trilogy, it has a handy 'story so far' section at the front for those who haven't read the earlier books (or need a quick reminder!). Told with a mixture of prose, lists, magazine articles, email transcripts etc, it is great for readers who are overwhelmed by text-heavy books.
Accessible, funny and clever...a five star teen read

I enjoyed reading this book as it was a very interesting.  My favourite character is Elekter and she was really good at solving problem . It was very interesting as the storyline changed at each time  and was fun to read . Elekter is a good character because she was always sweet .

I think this book is an adventure story because she really showed that she is a star in all movies. This book made me feel excited and that i want be like electra. The characters were kind and helped electra when she needed it. I liked that the book had a few mysteries but most things went right.

The third in the Waiting for Callback trilogy. This was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed reading it, the characters were likeable and well drawn and I liked the mixture of traditional dialogue alternating with email/twitter etc which made the story more engaging.
It would be a good recommendation for those who like the Geek Girl books, the themes of friendship, celebrity, insecurity etc are similar and both are told with a lot of humour, the style is very appealing.

I read this book in one month (which is the longest time I have ever taken to read a book) mainly because I really didn’t enjoy it. The story is about a girl called Electra who has teen fame.
