Grandad took me to town today and let me buy whatever clothes I wanted. Mum would never have let me off so lightly!
Everything's changed for Cathy - she's moved in with Grandad while Mum's in hospital and she has to go to a new school where she doesn't know anyone.
But life with Grandad is not so bad; between writing in her diary, learning to cook and making new friends Cathy doesn't have time to be sad!
