Dianne Ellis is the author of the Rusty Rumble series of children's books, published in the UK by Xlibis. In 2000 she gained a Diploma of Professional Children's Writing and in April 2014, she was awarded 1st Prize in the 11th Kathleen Julia Bates Memorial Writing Competition with the poem "The Family Cat".
