This product allows teachers to save valuable teaching time with regards marking and tracking progress of pupils in Year 9 Science. The CD-ROM provides 12 interactive end-of-unit summative tests (for both Gold and mainstream users) that are automatically marked. The CD-ROM also provides 6 structured interactive formative activities. These comprise animations and simulations, followed by interactive questions for students to work through. All questions provide feedback once attempted, and aim to help pupils understand the topics further and assess their own strengths and weaknesses. These activities can be accessed through the accompanying free website and consequently allow teachers to set them as homework using the printable worksheet. Each pupil has their own personal log in, allowing teachers to assign tests to pupils with time and date limits. Teachers can generate reports against a number of search criteria, including pupil, class, test, skill type, National Curriculum level and sublevel, QCA SoW topic among others. Reports can also be generated for the pupils showing strengths and weaknesses in the course.
