A re-telling of the David and Goliath story, told from the point of view of Goliath's shield-bearer. He is a likeable but cowardly fellow who eventually changes sides to work for his new hero - David. He tells how the shepherd boy eventually fulfils God's purposes and becomes King of Israel.
