This colorful book for young readers follows a hermit crab as it searches the Florida reef for a new shell to inhabit while it grows. As the crab hunts for a shell, she encounters an array of marine life on the reef, including shrimp, a school of sturgeonfish, starfish, and jellyfish. The book ends with facts about currents, climate change and how it affects our reefs, and things you can do to make a difference. The endsheets feature a map of bleached reefs and world currents.
