Caz has just moved to the area - her step-dad has recently lost his job and they've had to downsize. Caz is starting a new school and is worried about making friends. Lauren is her next door neighbour and befriends her. Caz tries to impress her and the gang with plans for a huge theme park party - like she had last year - but is bitterly disappointed when her parents veto it. Now she's invited everyone, she doesn't know how to get out of it! But her new friends rally round and plan a surprise star and moon party - clothes, food, decorations and presents all follow this theme. So the girls' friendship is cemented and Caz joins the gang.
