This is a collection of 144 hymns both traditional and modern from several countries in a variety of styles, 14 of which have been specially written by Brenda Piper for this collection. The words are provided to all hymns and in the case of 40, recorder and guitar accompaniments allow pupils to participate by playing as well as singing. To accompany this book there is a "Teacher's Assembly Book" which provides teachers wanting to take a Christian approach to assemblies with varied and modern resource materials and ideas, and a "Teacher's Music Book" which provides the piano accompaniment to all 144 hymns, including guitar chords, additional music parts and instrumental suggestions.
