Here is a charming, unique children's book
that tells the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus.
Since Jesus came to earth for all people, in all places, the author chose, for this story, to have him born in a place other than Palestine. She could have picked Asia, or Africa, but thought about the Great North of Canada, which is so different from the mountains and deserts of Judea.
The essence of the story is the same, but the author has added some imaginary cultural elements to emphasize that God’s love knows no bounds and no borders. Jesus came to tell the whole world that his Father's love is for all children on earth—whether from the Americas, Asia, Africa, Europe, or Oceania.
The book is an original idea that allows us to approach the birth of Christ by giving it a universal meaning. Its art, filled with remarkable illustrations, is full of details on the world of the Great North.
