My daughter loves this series,  it's a sweet story about imagination and friendship. Good for little dinosaur fans,  has all the names for them to learn, just a little tricky reading some of them for the first time.

The first in the Harry and the Dinosaurs story collection. Harry on a visit to his Nan's attic finds a box of dinosaurs which he decides to keep in a bucket! After learning about each of their names these dinosaurs accompany him everywhere. However, it's not long before they go on one adventure too many!
A brilliant book for all little children and a firm favourite for my little one who is dinosaur crazy!

We love dinosaurs so are often on the lookout for stories about them. Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs is a story about a little boy called Harry. When he visits his Nan's house they explore the attic and Harry finds dinosaurs, a whole bucketful of dinosaurs. Harry fixes and cleans them and they become his new favourite toys. He goes to the library to find out all their names and Harry takes them with him wherever he goes. One day when Harry and Nan go on the train Harry is so excited he forgets the dinosaurs and they are left on the train. Harry is very sad and although Nan buys him a new video to watch he really misses his dinosaurs. Nan decides to take Harry back to the train station to visit Lost Property. When they get there the Lost Property Man says there are some dinosaurs but Harry needs to prove they are his dinosaurs. So Harry names them all just as he did at the library. This is a fantastic book for young dinosaur fans. There are fun dinosaur illustrations but also there are the real names of the dinosaurs such as Apatosaurus. We really enjoyed this book and can't wait to find out what adventures Harry and his dinosaurs go on next.

Noah has always been a dinosaur fan so this was perfect. Not only is it colourful and an interesting read, but it's educational. My son now knows the names of dinosaurs that I wasn't even aware of! There's so many books in the Harry and dinosaurs collection that we own and Noah never gets bored of reading them.

Dinosaurs, always a children's favourite and this book continues to satisfy my boys love of them.  Harry gets given a box of dinosaurs and repairs/cleans them before keeping them in a bucket.  The story is realistic to how children react/engage with the world around them.  From finding and fixing the dinosaurs to carrying them everywhere.  When Harry loses the dinosaurs his attachment to them becomes clear and his joy when finding them brought delight to my boys at bedtime as well.  Looking forward to finding more of this series.

we have this as a board book and have the paperback as part of set ready for Christmas.

this has been a great hit with Jasper as he's in love with dinosaurs and often sits and flicks through the books on his own, roaring along with the dinosaurs and telling us what they're up to!

can't wait to open up the set at Christmas and read more of them.

My sons enjoy Harry and The Bucketful of Dinosaurs. In the story Harry loses his dinosaurs and is very sad, will he get them back?
Any children who are fans of dinosaurs will enjoy the story. The pictures help bring the story to life and this book has been read several times now.
