My 6yr old boy really enjoys these books. This is the first in series that tells you have Captain Underpants comes to be. It's a funny book, completely far fetched and perfect humour for a 6yr old.

I liked the fact that it was very funny. It's about 2 kids called George & Harold. They had a mean principle called Mr Krupp. George & Harold liked playing pranks so Mr Krupp wanted to catch them one day. Unfortunately, He did! So George hypnotised him with the 3-D hypo ring, making him think he was the boys' dream superhero, Captain Underpants. It was funny until Captain underpants jumped out the window and got into all kinds of trouble!  :):)  I think it would be for 7+. Reading this book has inspired me to draw like Dav Pikely and read the rest of the series.

It's great and hilarious.
The comic in it is particularly awesome. I like it a lot because it gave me ideas about drawing my own comics.

My daughter loves Captain Underpants. She adores the mix between the comic strip and the story itself and the humour (Lots of toilet gags) really makes her laugh. The story is about two boys who like playing practical jokes and their mean teachers. The pace of the book is fast and the text is accessible for younger readers too.
