This is a lovely book all about the importance of having a good nights sleep. Dotty teaches Whiffy how to tidy up and wind down ready for bed. Then Whiffy who didn't think sleep was important had lovely dreams.

This is a lovely book for both boys and girls to share. It has a very familiar theme for toddlers and younger children who are reluctant to go to bed and has a gorgeous rhyme and rhythm to it, so is so lovely to read aloud. It's got some really good messages of the importance of sleep and what a successful bedtime routine might look like.

Another great series from Caryl Hart, that Lo really enjoys, is Whiffy Wilson.

This time, Whiffy doesn’t want to go to bed and sleep because he is a BIG boy!  His lovely friend Dotty shows him that a bedtime routine is fun and relaxing and that sleep and dreaming is something he should want to do.

As usual, Caryl’s rhyme is wonderful and Leonie Lord’s illustrations are unique in style, perfect for a dreamy, bedtime effect.

These books are great for pre-schoolers, and lo’s struggling with/battling against bedtime.
