Some days we just need our daddies. And Arthur REALLY needs his daddy today. His play castle is all wrong, he bumps leg chasing baddies out of his kingdom and there's a monster in his moat! Nothing is going right for this little knight. There's only one thing for it: "I want my Daddy," he cries.
Fans of Tracey Corderoy's I Want My Mummy! will adore this sweet tale of Arthur and his special dad. With warm and reassuring illustrations and a playful text, this picture book will cheer up any little knight having a bad day. The perfect gift for Father's Day - or any day when only Daddy will do.

A sweet tale about a mouse called Arthur and his special relationship with his father.
I bought this book after we fell in love with " I want my mummy " book.
In this sequel to I Want My Mommy, Arthur is spending time with his daddy and tries to amuse himself by playing with his toy dragon but things are not working out well. Arthur wants his daddy to fix things for him.
This is a lovely, well-illustrated story about fatherhood and imaginative play. A perfect present for Father's Day.

This is a lovely book and we found perfect for bedtime story time. With just the right mix of excellent storytelling and suspense to keep both children interested but not over stimulated. the story introduces us to a young and very relatable mouse called arthur. Who is not having a good day and looks for help from his daddy with the problems he faces, and his daddy is always there to help with love. support and encouragement. A lovely story showing the close bond between children and their daddies. The monster in the park was a favourite part. but not to scary to worry. And 'hugs together - hugs forever" has been picked up and is now used regularly between all of us. We are looking forward to reading the mummy version.

This was an enchanting tale about the love of a little boy and his daddy. My husband loved reading this with our little boy and my little boy loved listening to his daddy. The illustrations are great and the story explores different daddy son situations and activities! We loved it thanks toppsta! (Sorry this is so late)

This is a lovely story for children who love playing with their Daddy's. The text resonated with my child's experiences and it's a comforting story with lovely illustrations. It's aimed at a younger audience though I'd recommend it for 2-4 year olds. Thanks Toppsta for this gorgeous book.
