A bright book with rhyming tale, I loved the orange page! Illustrations a little different from the norm which I loved, and rhyme is always a very good educational tool for the ears of little ones.

We discovered this delightful book at the library today! It follows how the characters have items swapped, and helps children to anticipate what the rhyming word may be on the next page. Very cleverly written, with a huge injection of humour and wonderful illustrations. A must for boys and girls aged 3-7!

Read this book to my girls about 5 times in an hour they loved it so much! A rhyme thief swaps objects for a rhyming match and we found it a lot of fun to guess what it would be. Strong vibrant pictures and laugh out loud humour for children's and adults too, particularly when he gets caught trying to rhyme orange! A new favourite and we will be on the hunt for other stories by this author.

This book is about a thief that replaces a word with one that rhymes with it. Each page has a character and something of theirs has been stolen and replaced. I think the layout of the book is clever as you have to turn the page to find out what the item has been replaced with meaning you can spend some time with your child trying to guess the rhyming word. I like books that encourage conversation and hidden learning.

The illustrations and the characters are bold, bright and silly so perfect for keeping little ones interested. The story has a hilarious twist and a mysterious ending for children to work out themselves. This element was far too advanced for Iris but she enjoyed the story and the pictures and I will be getting this book again when she can talk and understand more.
