Beliefs form the basis of our lives and can be either helpful or harmful. We read in the media daily, how beliefs can be distorted from being peaceful and enriching to being dangerous to us and to others. This distortion is often perpetrated deliberately in order to persuade young people to commit antisocial acts. This poster has been designed to encourage young people to challenge beliefs they may have been guided into, by thinking about the rationale that underlines them. It is only by doing this that we can teach the next generation to develop tolerance and understanding whilst at the same time an awareness of the need to explain their own beliefs and moral codes.
