I really enojoyed this book as there was lots of action and ninja fights.  My favourite character is Garmadon as he does lots of cool fighting.  It was fun to read this book.  I would recommend this book for boys and girls.

My son really enjoyed this book. He can't wait to see the Lego Ninjago Movie so was really pleased to be able to read this. He said his favourite part was the colour pictures from the movie. They are also helpful for adults as the main characters are all labelled in the first picture so I have now learned their names. The book is perfect for Lego Ninjago fans but it is also a fun read for those who are new to the Ninjago world. There is lots of adventure in the story and it is a fantastic read.

I love anything to do with Lego and enjoyed reading this book very much! :)

(Mummy - our eldest read this book in a span of a week all on his own which to us is an amazing achievement for a 6 year old who has just only gotten more confident with his reading and writing. The story sounded interesting through our child's eyes and he clearly got swept away into the world of Lego Ninjago)

I saw the film before I read the book, as I prefer to do things that way.  The book is quite long, and it wasn't as fun as watching the film, but I still enjoyed reading it because I am a fan of Lego and Ninjago. There are a few pictures from the film in the centre.

Like the film, the book is focused on Lloyd and his very bad Dad - Lord Garmadon.  Lloyd and the other lego Ninjago characters must defeat him to save the whole of Ninjago City!

Son: I enjoyed it. I liked the photos of the film in the middle of the book. It is different from what happens on the TV. Lloyd's beginning is not the same. I thought it was funny when the beast tries to eat Garmadon and  then Garmadon says he was not expecting this.

Mum: We shared the reading of this book. The language is not particularly complicated, so great for a reader who is just getting used to chapter books. However, I found the plot a bit surprising. It is not exactly what I was expecting from the film  and somewhat different from the TV series. It is very much centred on Lloyd and his father, Garmadon.  Whilst my son liked it, I am not sure it will appeal to all Ninjago fans.

This book had a great ending and I liked the way the author gave me a opening into Lloyd and his father's tumultuous relationship. Lots of action and interesting content. I liked all the adjectives which enlivened the story!

It was a very good book with lots of drama in but I think there should be more technical drama in it.  It is very good for a quick read.

I love Lego Ninjago and can't wait to see the movie when mum can take me. . I was so excited to get this book, it has brilliant pictures and the story was really good. I could show my mum who the main characters are as they had their names and pictures at the start.

My little bother can't read but he likes looking at the pictures of the film and I read him bits.

I give it 4/5
