Rama, a nine-year-old Pueblo girl, finds a friend in an elderly neighbor, Miss Lottie. Rama shares a gift and Miss Lottie shares stories. The illustrations invite us into the homes of Native Americans and helps us to experience the friendship in crossing boundaries of generations and cultures.
