A really fun book about a little boy's new pet - a dragon!  It isn't long before the dragon is causing all sorts of problems, but thankfully he also manages to help mommy and daddy and so he is allowed to stay!

Great fun book, with nice illustrations. George gets a new pet and his mum and dad think it's a lizard, but as he grows and starts crashing and setting fire to everything. George's parents want him gone, but they are best friends and it takes a day where mum and dad need some help from the dragon that they realise he could come in handy after all. Really fun story that my little boy enjoyed.

We thought this was great! A funny story about a boy who buys a lizard as a pet only to discover it's actually a dragon! We liked all the silly things the dragon gets up to and how he helps out in the end. I quite like the parents in this book, as dad is shown doing the cooking and shopping and mum is going to work and mending the car. Not a main part of the story but noticeable in the background. Great work!

A funny sorry about George getting a new dragon. The dragon grows and grows and causes all sorts of problems but proved useful in the end. My kids loved the way the dragon caused problems and found him funny.
