DuckDumB is a children's picture book about a duck who awakens to find that his field of foraging has turned into a pond of dreams. As the reader sees the duck's imagination unfold and soar through a series of "picture pages" and interspersed rhyming verse, the reader is also shown the day/night cycle, the rain/sun/evaporation process, the basic building blocks of a village, and ultimately how the heights of imagination are eventually forced to return to the realm of reality.
