Enter the interactive world of Letterland and meet the a-z characters. Songs and animation help pupils to learn the alphabet sounds and correct handwriting strokes. There are assessed activities for: a-z letter shapes; a-z letter sounds; long and short vowel sounds; and building regular words. The software is available with network capability and teacher controls to: create multiple classes; select letters and activities for each class; monitor results for each pupil; shut down software on all student computers from teacher's PC; and display the same view as the class (e.g. on an interactive whiteboard). Minimum system requirements are: PC Only Windows[registered] 98 and above, 750MHz Pentium III or equivalent, 64 Mb of RAM, 8x CD-ROM drive, 800 x 600 screen resolution, Sound Card.
