This book continues the escalating danger of the stories in the Time Traveller series. Danny Higgins is an experienced time traveller for SHARP. During Danny's brief jump back in time to Gorton in 1872, he becomes an apprentice zoo keeper and helps to look after the weary elephant, Maharajah and his keeper who have walked to Manchester all the way from Edinburgh. (Maharajah's skeleton is on display at Manchester museum). But Danny has a special mission, to get a hair from the supposedly Barbary lion that is a huge attraction at the zoo. When the Dark Chaos almost destroyed mankind, the few remaining survivors were mostly scientists who had been working at the forefront of technology. They created the organisation called SHARP and recruited young people from the 21st century to help them track and record the traces of evil that had brought about the destruction of the modern world. Danny Higgins was their first agent. SHARP had discovered that throughout history evil had been bleeding through from another dimension in which only ultimate evil existed. Hovering between earth and that other dimension is STRAP, the enemy of SHARP.
STRAP is hell bent on ensuring the world's destruction is complete and its operatives are very keen to get their hands on Danny Higgins.
