A very nice book about a bear that starts in a bee school. He initially just wants to get access to honey, but he actually has fun at school and learn lots of bee stuff. Then they end up discovering he's not a bee and he needs to leave school, but he misses it. After he saves the bees and the honey from a very big bear, he ends up being awarded and is allowed to go back to school as a bumblebear! Very fun story! Perfect for kids starting school. My son loved it.

Georgie brought this book home from school in a pack she received and we have read it every night since then!
She thinks it is very funny as she tries to imagine a bear as a bee, but feels sad when Norman isn't allowed to go back to Bee School.
She loves the ending as it proves that anything is possible.

My daughter brought this book home from school last week and we absolutely love it.

It is very well illustrated, my daughter finds so many lines funny and asks lots of questions on each page.

About a bear who loves honey, so he joins a bee school dressed as a bumble bee, he didn’t fool his fellow students for long.....

This bright, bold and fun book was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter.  It's all about a honey loving bear who comes up with a plan to get to the honey, yes, you've guessed it, he pretends to be a bee and joins bee school.  But his cover is blown!  A lovely story with some giggly bits too.

I loved this book. It was very cute. The bumble bear was so so so cute. He was just a normal bear but he dressed up as a bumble bee to fit in at bee school. This book is about a bear called Norman who really loved honey. He was always sad when it ran out. Then Norman had an idea. He dressed up as a bee and went too bee school. This bit was funny because he was so much bigger than all of the other bees and he didn't look like a bee at all but all the bees thought he looked like one except that he was way too big. Norman tried his best all of the time, just like me at school. A little bear told the queen bee that Norman was a bear! He had to leave. I felt sorry for Norman because he was very sad that he had to leave. Next a naughty bear came and on stomped on the bee hive! But Norman came to the rescue and buzzed very loud and scared the big bear away. All of the bees were happy and so was I because Norman didn't want to hurt the bees he just wanted to eat their honey.

This story has very colourful pictures and I enjoyed looking at them, there are pictures on every page.
I really liked the front cover too because it is of Norman a big bear in a bee suit. This book is funny and I would definitely tell my friends to read if. Some of them already have read it because I told them to.

Norman is a bear who loves honey and even gets sad when he runs out. The trouble is getting more honey is always tricky so Norman has an idea. He decides to pretend to be a bee - he even dresses up as a bee so that he will fit in at Bee School. This is an adorable story about being different and making friends. Norman may not be a real bee but he is certainly a real friend to the bees. The illustrations are wonderful and sweet. We really enjoyed reading this book and especially loved Norman's bee costume.

We have really enjoyed reading this book that Leo was given at school. A little bear called Norman disguises himself as a bee so that he can go to bee school and eat their honey. Leo loved the pictures and thought the little bees were great. He found Norman dressing up to look like a bee really funny too.
