In the 1930's the Great Depression hit most of the Unites States; times were especially hard in Midwestern states, like Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. The people hurt by the Depression turned to many answers to survive- hard work, doing without, and even crime. Based on a true story, "Earnest Meets the Outlaw" tells about one Oklahoma family when they meet face-to-face with one of most dangerous men in the West.
