Meet Maxine. Typical of all the great drummers of the world, Maxine made her start playing in her bedroom. Recently she has got involved with a band called "Munga!". Now she has to learn how to survive fires, kidnapping (well, sort of), police dogs, gang members, pub brawls, wild gigs, Dooby. And she is only 12. She may even just manage to survive her parents...What they are saying about Drummer Girl "Maxine is not my real name." Maxine Harrison "She's one of the best drummers I have ever played with." John, the bass player. "Whoever these parents are, they are so irresponsible. It's unbelievable." Maxine's mum. "Rock on, Dudes." Noise, guitar hero. "This is so embarrassing." Dooby, artist, poet, legend. "No matter what anyone says, Dooby will always be a poohead." April, Maxine's 10 year old little sister.
