Yambasu, Hawa and their son Abdul, make a happy family, until Yambasu unwittingly falls foul of the wicked Alhaji Sulaiman. Sulaiman has ambitions and is convinced that Yambasu could thwart these and he has been advised by unscrupulous men that in the boy's death lies the key to his success.
