Language in my World, developed for the new outcomes-based curriculum, is an authentic English Language series for all learners of English as a new or additional language. The series uses a thinking-skills and problem-solving approach called TASC (Thinking Actively in a Social Context). The activities used are designed to help young people develop the skills and values necessary to create a human rights culture in which they can realise the full potential of their world. OBE-friendly - contains grids at the beginning of each programme organiser which clearly indicate the outcomes being developed. Has a summary of the assessment criteria at the end of each programme organiser. Special design includes the learner's pages on the teacher's pages. Flexible - allows the teacher to adapt each learning activity to specific needs of the class. Gives the teacher plenty opportunity to be creative. Includes four full-colour classroom poster sets and photocopiable activity sheets.
