Reading in my World is a dynamic reading series for foundation phase learners of English as a new or additional language. It draws on and extends the themes, language skills and teaching skills from Language in my World. This outcomes-based series consists of 24 story books (8 for Grade 2) which nurture a lifelong love of reading. Aiming to provide full colour fun reading, the books draw on the learner's knowledge and experience, extend the learner's language and thinking skills and aim to develop a high level of visual literacy, nurture creativity and stimulate the imagination.
