Designed for use by children in their second year of English, this activity pack contains 40 activities, divided into 11 topics including family and home, the body, health and ability, describing people and describing places. The pack itself forms part of a three-level series of activity packs for children between the ages of 7 and 12 and contains topic-based material, which revolves around the same language syllabus, topics, vocabulary and activity types covered in the "UCLES Cambridge Young Learners English Tests - Starters, Movers and Flyers". Activities follow a graded syllabus but each one is free-standing and can be used in any order the teacher prefers. The series also aims to provide ample opportunity for skills practice in an interesting and stimulating way, with a particular emphasis on listening and speaking.
