Each book in this series presents a different major world language. It examines where in the world the language is spoken, who speaks it, what alphabet the language is written in, differences and similarities between the language and English, and other interesting facts. Each book also includes introductions on how to say key phrases in the language, such as how to say hello and goodbye, or talk about your home, school, and family. A pronunciation guide at the back of the book explains how to pronounce the foreign-language words used throughout the book.
