Carmen has always wanted her very own horse. Any sort of horse is better than no horse at all, she thinks, but that's before Dad brings home a cranky old mule called Skeeter'. The other kids think Skeeter's a joke, but with a little help from Lisa and Mr Lee, Carmen is determined to have the last laugh.
