She begins by summarising Daniel Goleman's work on 'emotional intelligence' and goes on to describe how stories can be used to open up reflectionon and discussion of feelings. The main part of the book summarises over 100 popular children's story books (many of which are likely to already be in your setting) and shows how each can be usd to encourage children to think anf talk about theirfeelings. The included CD ROM contains additional resources, games and templates.
