Anu and the Blue is a story about a little girl who has doubts of the love of God towards everyone. She is unsure that his love extends beyond what she believes would be unworthy to him. To her unworthy means different, but different to Anuba stretches her imagination to the existence of mermaids. Anuba asks herself, If I was a mermaid would God still love me? The story of Anu and the Blue depicts an important message of differentiation that reaches out to many.

Michael Collins flew in both the Gemini 10 and the Apollo 11 space missions in the 1960s. After retiring from NASA in 1970, he became director of the National Air and Space Museum until 1978, when he became undersecretary of the Smithsonian Institution. He currently lives in South Florida.
