This Grade 3 African Languages Series is an integrated OBE African Languages Literacy Programme for learners in the foundation phase. Published in 5 languages, the series is unique in promoting an appreciation and love of African Languages and encouraging a culture of reading among all South Africans. The series contains interactive activities, uses the daily experiences of the learners and contains traditional poems and stories significant to each African language. The Teacher's Book contains extra activities for teachers to use in their classrooms and guidelines for continuous assessment.
