The Grade 3 African Languages Series is an integrated OBE African Languages Literacy Programme for learners in the foundation phase. Published in 5 languages, the series is unique in promoting an appreciation and love of African Languages and encouraging a culture of reading among all South Africans. The series contains interactive activities, uses the daily experiences of the learners and contains traditional poems and stories significant to each African language. The Workbook has activities that demonstrate the skills of the learning programme, reinforces the lessons of the Learner's Book and includes activities designed to develop the thinking skills of the learners.
