The Teacher's Book 1 provides the teacher with a background and overview to the features of the Cambridge Reading Routes approach to Outcomes-based Educaton. It is designed to work in conjunction with the Reading Routes range of readers for Grade 1, by assisting teachers in lesson preparation and by providing teaching suggestions. The book also makes it possible for the teacher to evaluate and assess the progress of individual learners by means of performance indicators provided. Teacher's Book 1 serves as a step-by-step guidline as to how the readers can be utilized in the most effective manner to aid the learning process.
