My mummy was very happy when I won this book from Toppsta, as she thought I might stop saying 'What can I do?' I like this book because it has so many things to do outside so, hopefully, I will never get bored!  We have already started on the lettuce ball, which I think will be awesome and my brother likes the look of the bear hunt.  It has things to do for all the seasons of the year and activities for different places; parks, beaches, woods and of course the back garden.  There are lots of really good pictures which I like looking at, and which encouraged me to try out the activities.  This is a really good book

This book has some fantastic ideas for activities outside all over the year. My daughter started looking through it and soon picked out some activities that she wants to try. Everything can be done quickly enough to keep the children's interest. We love real pictures inside the book that helps to see in reality how everything will look like. There are lots of tips and instructions. I've learned myself a few new games that I actually would like to play myself like water balloon piñata:) What a great idea for the hot summer! The cover didn't get my attention but when I looked inside I was in shock how lovely everything id designed - I could write about this book all the long but I will give you a chance to have a look yourself
I highly recommend this book and I'm sure it will be our favourite for the next couple of years!
Ps. It's a great source for all teachers who lead forest schools or rainbows teams...

This book is a lot better than expected. I have enjoyed evening looking through this with my 3 sons. My 6 and 4 year olds were really keen to try some of the activities out. We bought a tent in march and are planning to do at least 4 camping weekends this year, so this book was ideal for us. Each page is laid out nicely and some nice humour in the description. There is an easy to find index at the back , so you can search for certain activities if you know what you're looking for. There is also a section at the back so you can look for wildlife, seaside, walks, park, craft.gardening and games. There is also a section for each season and age groups. So much thought has been put into this book. This is going to come in so handy as I'm not very creative. I saw this book on a recent trip to Kingston Lacy as we've joined the national trust and I agree , this will be useful for those days too.

I had expected this book to reiterate things that I already knew but instead it opened my eyes to some brilliant ideas that had never occurred to me. There are a huge range of activities from physical to crafty all set out with beautiful illustrations and fantastic explanations. I've already planned some to try this week with my 5 and 2 year olds

This book has a huge range of activities that are suitable for different times of year. There are some brilliant and imaginative ideas with easy to follow instructions and great pictures. We enjoyed lots of time in the garden this half term trying out some of the projects. This is a lovely book we will keep going back to for many years. I would recommend this to people of all ages. There is something for everyone.
