Daisy can't believe it! Mrs Peters is making her sit next to Jack Beechwhistle - the naughtiest boy in the school, and possibly the whole world! Jack is so mad! Mrs Peters is making him sit next to Daisy Butters - she's such an annoying tell tale! As the school day goes on, Daisy and Jack think of more and more ways to get one up on each other. Then they both have a brilliant idea! Trouble is, Daisy and Jack might be more alike than they realized...This is a funny, mischievous and totally troublesome tale for girls and boys, written and published specially for World Book Day 2016.

This is the first of the 'Daisy' books that we have read and we were not disappointed. It was a perfect reading level for my boys and
they were keen to read aloud as the text was lovely and clear. There were 2 fonts, one for when Daisy was narrating and one for Jack. Poor Daisy and Jack do not get along at all and think that they are so different from each other. The sections are short and
you hear one version of events and then the other. I thought that the boys might find this quite repetitive but it just seemed to add to the hilarity of the book. There is plenty of naughtiness to make everyone giggle without being too rude. The illustrations
are in Nick Sharratts typical style and it suits the book perfectly. We read this story over 2 nights and we shall be on the lookout for more Daisy and Jack adventures.

I read this book to my five year old daughter. She loves the daisy books and likes the relationship daisy has with jack! She did enjoy this book and we liked the fact it was from daisy and jacks perspective. She did prefer the other daisy books which is why we have only given it four stars.
