The price of true friendship! Olive's best friend Joe has bought her a special hat. The only problem is Olive doesn't like it, and her friends find it hilarious. Olive tries all kinds of excuses to avoid wearing it, and eventually Joe catches her stuffing it into a bin! Olive feels terrible that she upset Joe, and so she starts wearing a special sign saying, 'Olive and Joe are best friends'.

Tor Freeman grew up in London and graduated from Kingston University with a BA in illustration. She has been working as an illustrator ever since. In 2012 she was awarded the Sendak Fellowship and spent a month in Connecticut.
