Daisy's adventures start when her Grandad, who always called her his pretty, precious princess, gives her a book full of precious secrets. But it is not just any book - it is a portal to Bible times. In On the Beach, Daisy goes on holiday and unexpectedly finds herself in another time, talking to a boy who has just given all that he has (five small rolls of bread and two fishes) to Jesus. She learns that sharing things with Jesus can have amazing consequences - and so can sharing special things with other people. In Starry Night, Daisy experiences al l the fear of a night-time storm. But after sharing the disciples' experience of being at sea in a storm with Jesus in the boat, she realises that she does not need to be afraid when Jesus is there.
