A family of squirrels works hard to collect enough acorns to last through the long cold winter. When all the squirrels work hard and share they are successful and happy. But then a new squirrel that moves to their forest takes many acorns and hides them in an old junk car. The squirrel family faces hunger until they find a way to solve the problem and bring the new squirrel into the community. This book entertains children while teaching positive lessons on the value of hard work and cooperation and the problems associated with greed and selfishness.
