Based on the successful format of IELI, this indicator helps users work together to form an assessment of the emotional literacy strengths and vulnerabilities of the young person. It can be used by the young person themselves, by the adult who wants to work the with young person (to help their thinking) or, ideally, by the two together. A successful tool for developing a relationship, providing a focus for both parties and for starting off a period of work together.
