Off the far tip of Cornwall, beyond Land's End, lie the Isles of Scilly, and on some of the islands live the famous Scilly shrews. There are two little girl shrews, Tamsin and Flossie, and three little boy shrews, Gimble, Gweal and Kettle, and they live a life packed with fun and adventure on the beautiful island of Tresco. The head of the family is their mother, Hepzibah, and together they are known far and wide as the Scilly Shrews. This is the second book of stories all about the Scilly Shrews and all their old friends, including Ditty the kittiwake, Percy the frog, Fluff the chough and Janet the gannet. You may think the life of a shrew is not very interesting, but you couldn't be more wrong. Contained in this book are just a few of the many stories that have happened to our little family of Scilly shrews - both their adventures and their misadventures - and I hope you enjoy reading them.
