This title explores how houses and homes have changed from the Victorian era through to the present day. It considers how building materials have changed and how different features of the house have evolved from fireplaces to toilets and from bedrooms to sitting rooms. Childrens are encouraged to examine the world around them and use the examples provided in the book to better understand the history of their own home.
