Activities include making plantable greeting cards; composing homework and creating habitats for garden creatures. The text is complimented with colour photographs and line drawings. The handbook aims to encourage enjoyment of gardening for both children and parents. It is rooted in the philosophy that appreciating nature and conserving future resources should not only be for adults.
