Reviva Schermbrucker grew up in Johannesburg. She has worked as an art lecturer, schoolteacher and materials developer at a non-government organisation. She is the author of several other books for children, such as Charlie's House (David Philip), some of which she illustrated. Reviva now lives in Claremont, Cape Town with her husband and two sons.
More about Reviva SchermbruckerNiki Daly lives in South Africa with his wife, the illustrator Jude Daly. He was written and illustrated many award-winning picture books, including Why the Sun and Moon Live in the Sky, which was a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Book of the Year. He won the Molteno Gold Medal Award for his contribution to English literature in South Africa.
